U.S. Xpress in Henderson, NC is seeking a Supervisor II Account to oversee driver teams for assigned accounts. You will address customer service issues, manage shipments, and drive performance improvements daily to meet customer demands.

The role emphasizes safety, coaching, and proactive communication with customers and internal teams, with standard qualifications including a high school diploma and 3+ years in related operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Equivalent years of experience are defined as one year of professional experience for each year of college requested.
• 3+ years Operations experience including Customer Service, Fleet Management, or Load Planning preferred.
• Transportation, logistics, and/or supervisory experience is a plus.
• Comprehensive knowledge of DOT regulations impacting daily operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety metrics and KPIs around service pickup, deadhead, assignments per week, and other metrics essential for the organization’s objectives.
• Supervise driver performance to balance business and driver needs.
• Coach drivers using High Performance Coaching techniques.
• Ensure the highest level of service for customers through proactive communication and managed expectations.
• Maximize company profitability and revenue through efficient equipment utilization.
• Coordinate with drivers on physicals, random drug screens, and CDL renewal deadlines with Safety tracking.
• Plan driver loads based on availability and ensure on-time service.
• Collaborate with other departments on various tasks; perform yard duties as assigned.
