Job summary

Cox Automotive in Riverside, CA is seeking a detail-oriented client services specialist to serve as the primary contact for resolving issues across automotive accounts, from simple to complex. You will collaborate with auction teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.

In this role you will inspect vehicles, prepare reconditioning estimates, coordinate services, and maintain accurate condition reports. A valid driver’s license, safety awareness, and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; related degree/certification may substitute.
• 3 years’ related experience; alternative: 5 years in related field.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact to resolve client issues across complex accounts.
• Deliver prompt, courteous customer service addressing vehicle condition inquiries and discrepancies.
• Coordinate sale vehicle run processes and communicate with auction departments for inventory movement.
• Build client relationships, inspect vehicles, prepare reconditioning estimates to improve value.
• Apply knowledge of condition reports and vehicle inspections to identify paint/repairs.
• Educate clients on auction processes and upsell Cox/CAI products as needed.
• Prioritize tasks and maintain professional client relationships.
• Coordinate redemptions, ensure proper documentation, and maintain PI I compliance while delivering service.
• Ensure adherence to Cox standards and SLA guidelines for reconditioning.
• Apply NAAA guidelines for vehicle announcements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internal platforms.
• Follow safety policies and support safety initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
