Job summary

Republic Services is seeking an Account Executive in the Phoenix, AZ area to drive new business and expand revenue across the full suite of waste management and recycling services. You will meet with decision-makers, deliver compelling presentations, and close deals while managing relationships to maximize profitability.

You will regularly use Salesforce to track prospects, schedule follow-ups, and report on progress toward revenue targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of direct selling experience in a customer-facing role.
• Proven ability to identify and address customer needs.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Identify viable leads and acquire new commercial, industrial and recycling business to meet revenue goals.
• Follow up on leads within 2 hours and document activities in Salesforce.
• Deliver sales presentations to prospective clients and close sales.
• Schedule phone blocks and cold call prospecting to establish appointments.
• Maintain knowledge of services, pricing, and cross-sell opportunities.
• Attend events to increase company visibility and network with decision-makers.
