Job summary

Republic Services is seeking an Associate Account Manager to maintain and grow relationships with existing commercial and industrial customers in an assigned territory. You will handle outbound and inbound calls to retain business and expand penetration by selling the full Republic Services product suite.

Responsibilities include daily customer outreach, understanding services and pricing, executing re-signs, and using Salesforce to track activities.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of customer service experience required.
• Experience with outbound calls is common for this role.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and retains existing customers daily.
• Develops knowledge of services, pricing, and offers additional services.
• Performs contractual re-signs to extend relationships.
• Responds to cancellation requests per escalation policy.
• Communicates with customers about pricing initiatives.
• Documents activities in Salesforce (calls, meetings, proposals).
• Increases customer penetration by selling the full product suite.
• Meets with Sales Manager to review retention activities and progress.
