Job summary

Republic Services, Inc. seeks an Account Manager to proactively maintain and retain relationships with existing customers in a commercial/industrial waste services territory.

You will increase penetration by selling the full product suite and keeping customers satisfied through strong relationships, pricing collaboration, and detailed CRM tracking. Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant sales experience is required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Preferred: waste or transportation industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and retain existing customers by building long‑term relationships and loyalty.
• Develop knowledge of services, pricing, and offers for assigned customers.
• Perform contractual re‑signs to extend relationships and profitability.
• Respond to cancellation requests per escalation policy.
• Communicate with customers regarding pricing initiatives.
• Use Salesforce daily to log calls, meetings and proposals.
• Capture customer emails and manage credits.
• Increase customer penetration by selling the full Republic Services product line.
• Meet with the Sales Manager to review retention activities and progress.
• Partner with operations to address service issues.
• Engage in company events to increase visibility.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
