Job summary

Chemtrec in Falls Church, VA is seeking a detail-oriented professional to support Account Managers with daily management of complex customer accounts. You will assist with reports, updates, and documentation for key clients, and help onboard new customers as part of a responsive team.

The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and proficiency with MS Office. Some travel to client sites and flexible hours are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or two years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work independently on complex matters while also collaborating in a team.
• Strong written and oral communication and ability to interact with technical and non-technical customers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Flexible hours with rotating schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist Account Managers with reports, updates, and customer documentation.
• Support implementation of new complex accounts and protocols for existing accounts.
• Process account consolidations, divestitures and spin-outs with customers.
• Contribute to CHEMTREC initiatives and customer care projects.
• Travel with Account Managers to customer visits and conferences as needed.
• Handle minor incident calls in the Operations Center and provide daily coverage.
• Assist training of new Customer Service Representatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
