Job summary

Rent-A-Center in Mebane, NC is seeking an Account Manager to manage rental accounts, deliver exceptional customer service, and drive account performance. You will handle deliveries and pickups, maintain store standards, and support sales growth.

This full-time, in-store role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift and move merchandise. You’ll work Monday–Saturday with Sundays off and enjoy weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills are required.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee an assigned portfolio of accounts and build customer relationships.
• Conduct early-stage collections (1–6 days past due) and meet collection standards.
• Maintain account health and secure payment commitments.
• Complete routes for deliveries, pickups, and follow-ups.
• Deliver white-glove service in-store, over the phone, and in customers’ homes.
• Contribute to sales growth by generating new rental agreements.
• Safely transport and install merchandise and maintain showroom standards.
• Adhere to all safety and operational guidelines.
