Job summary

Republic Services is seeking an Associate Account Manager to proactively retain and grow relationships with existing commercial and industrial customers in an assigned territory. You will handle daily outbound and inbound calls to minimize churn and expand penetration of the full product suite.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 0–2 years of customer service experience. Salesforce will be used daily to track activity and performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–2 years of customer service experience required.
• Experience with outbound/inbound calls preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and retain existing customers by proactively contacting them daily.
• Develop knowledge of Republic Services services, pricing, and offers to expand value with customers.
• Perform contractual re-signs to extend relationships and increase profitability.
• Process cancellation requests per escalation policy and support pricing initiatives.
• Use Salesforce to schedule, document activities, calls, meetings, and proposals.
• Aim to increase customer penetration by selling the full Republic Services product suite.
• Meet with Sales Manager to review retention activities and progress toward goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
