Job summary

Republic Services is seeking an Associate Account Manager to maintain and grow relationships with small to mid-size commercial customers in an assigned territory. This remote role requires proactive outreach, inbound/outbound calls, and selling the full suite of Republic Services products to increase penetration and profitability.

You'll use Salesforce daily to log activities, manage renewals, and respond to cancellations per policy. 0-2 years in customer service is preferred.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
0-2 years of customer service experience preferred.
Bilingual abilities preferred.

Responsibilities

Retains and grows existing customers by proactive daily outreach.
Develops thorough knowledge of services, pricing structures, and cross-sell opportunities.
Performs contractual renewals to extend relationships and profitability where appropriate.
Responds to cancellation requests per escalation policy.
Communicates pricing initiatives and updates to customers.
Uses Salesforce daily to schedule and document calls, meetings and proposals.
Captures customer emails, minimizes rate restrictions and credits.
Increases customer penetration by selling the full suite of Republic Services products.
Meets with Sales Manager regularly to review progress and key relationships.
