Job summary

TransPerfect in Durham, NC is seeking an Account Executive to develop new business relationships and serve as the first level of support to existing clients. You will research prospective clients, manage data, generate mailings, and cold call to grow the client base.

You will negotiate terms, coordinate with production to ensure accurate, high‑quality translations, and follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction with delivery, quality and service.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree.
• Excellent English communication (written and verbal) skills.
• Between 1-3 years of sales experience.
• Proven sales lifecycle experience - lead generation through business closing.
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Effective time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Research prospective clients through internet research, trade show lists, referrals, yellow pages, professional directories and personal investigation.
• Create accurate spreadsheets of prospective client data including names, titles, phone numbers, addresses and other information.
• Generate daily mailings to prospective clients using updated spreadsheets.
• Cold call prospective clients.
• Liaise with production to ensure that all jobs are handled appropriately with attention to detail.
• Consistently follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction with delivery, quality and service.
• Research and understand all industries TransPerfect markets to, including industry leaders and current events.
• Perform other special projects or duties when required.
