Job summary

TransPerfect Translations International seeks an Account Executive in Raleigh, NC to develop new business relationships and serve as the first level of client support. Responsibilities include researching prospects, creating data spreadsheets, mailing campaigns, cold calling, negotiating terms, and coordinating with production to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree, excellent English communication, 1–3 years of sales experience, and a proven sales track

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
• 1–3 years of sales experience preferred.
• Proven sales lifecycle experience from lead to close.
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Effective time management.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business relationships.
• Serve as first level of client support.
• Research prospective clients via internet, trade shows, referrals, directories.
• Create accurate prospect data spreadsheets.
• Generate daily mailings to prospects.
• Cold call prospective clients.
• Negotiate rates and deadlines with clients.
• Explain translation process and TransPerfect pricing, timelines, competitors.
• Coordinate with production to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
• Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction.
• Research industries TransPerfect markets to and keep data current.
• Perform other special projects as required.
