Nemours Access Center is seeking an experienced Specialist II to manage high-volume appointment scheduling, patient information entry, and financial discussions with families. You will coordinate with multiple specialties as needed to maintain call center metrics and ensure accurate, timely processing of encounters.

Responsibilities include collecting payments, escalating complex cases to Financial Advocates, and ensuring smooth navigation of MyChart messages and schedules.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of customer service, medical office, or call center experience.
• CRCR HFMA Certification is preferred.

Mansioni

• Answer calls for assigned clinic specialties with standardized greeting and closure.
• Capture and verify patient demographics, guarantor, guardian, and insurance information in EMR.
• Schedule appointments in EMR, provide necessary directions and paperwork.
• Monitor electronic communications and stay updated on department processes.
• Collect copays and balances; escalate to Financial Advocates when needed.
• Cross-cover scheduling groups and assist with MyChart messages and waitlist reports.
