Albany Medical Center's Division of Plastic Surgery is seeking a full-time Plastic Surgeon at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to grow our clinical, educational, and research programs in Albany, NY.

The role emphasizes reconstructive surgery, including microvascular breast reconstruction, craniofacial, hand, and general microsurgery, with opportunities to provide care at affiliate sites and the VA Medical Center, while participating in teaching and scholarship.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree (or equivalent).
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Plastic Surgery residency.
• Board-eligible or board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery or foreign equivalent.
• Eligible for New York State medical licensure.
• Demonstrated clinical competence and skill in teaching.
• Fellowship in microvascular surgery desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Take independent hand and face trauma call.
• Provide reconstructive procedures including microvascular breast reconstruction, craniofacial, hand and general reconstruction.
• Contribute to clinical care, teaching, and research within a collaborative faculty.
