Albany Medical Center's Division of Plastic Surgery seeks a full-time Plastic Surgeon at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to join our expanding clinical, educational, and research programs in upstate New York.

The position offers a broad reconstructive focus—breast, craniofacial, hand, and general microsurgery—with trauma call coverage, an integrated residency, and a strong commitment to teaching, patient care, and scholarly activity.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree (or equivalent).
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Plastic Surgery residency.
• Board-eligible or board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, or foreign equivalent recognized by the ABPS.
• Eligible for New York State medical licensure.
• Demonstrated clinical competence and skill in clinical and didactic teaching.
• Fellowship training in microvascular surgery is desirable, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care in plastic surgery with a focus on reconstructive procedures.
• Contribute to teaching and mentoring residents and medical students.
• Engage in scholarly activity including clinical research and outcomes assessment.

Education
