Albany Medical Center's Division of Plastic Surgery is seeking a full-time Plastic Surgeon at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. We are expanding our clinical, educational, and research programs and welcome candidates who are eager to contribute to this growth.

The role focuses on reconstructive surgery including microvascular breast reconstruction, craniofacial surgery, hand surgery, and general reconstruction, with opportunities to shape your practice across affiliated sites and VA

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree (or equivalent).
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Plastic Surgery residency.
• Board-eligible or board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, or foreign equivalent recognized by the ABPS.
• Eligible for New York State medical licensure.
• Demonstrated clinical competence and skill in clinical and didactic teaching.
• Fellowship training in microvascular surgery is desirable, but not required.

Responsabilités

• Take independent hand and face trauma call.
• Provide breast reconstruction services at a nearby affiliate hospital.
• Expand transgender care and aesthetic practice.
• Deliver clinical care at the Albany Stratton VA Medical Center.
• Contribute to teaching and research within the integrated residency program.
