The Division of Plastic Surgery at Albany Medical Center is seeking a full-time Plastic Surgeon at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. This opportunity supports expanding clinical, educational, and research programs in the Capital Region of New York.

The role emphasizes reconstructive surgery including microvascular breast reconstruction, craniofacial surgery, hand surgery, and general reconstruction.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and plastic surgery residency.
• Board eligibility or certification by ABPS or foreign equivalent.
• Eligible for New York State medical licensure.
• Demonstrated teaching ability.
• Fellowship in microvascular surgery desirable but not required.

Responsabilités

• Provide clinical care in reconstructive plastic surgery, including microvascular breast reconstruction, craniofacial surgery, hand surgery, and general reconstruction.
• Take independent hand and face trauma call.
• Contribute to the division's teaching and research, including resident and medical student education.
• Deliver clinical care at Albany Stratton VA Medical Center and affiliated sites.
