Job summary

City Year AmeriCorps members serve as student success coaches and mentors within elementary to high school settings, supporting academic achievement, attendance, and positive behaviors. The role includes training, collaboration with teachers, and direct student interaction to monitor progress.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor students in 1:1 and small groups.
• Plan and monitor individual student progress and support classroom instruction.
• Collaborate with teachers to collect and review student data.
• Support extended day and after-school programming and student clubs.
• Foster an engaging, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
