Job summary

Sedgwick in Los Angeles is seeking a seasoned Absence Management Specialist to coordinate client absence programs and support the Benefits Program Manager. You will help implement surveys, assist in trainings, and prepare administration reports.

This role requires six years in absence management, strong communication, and organizational skills. You will collaborate with client HR, providers, and internal teams to ensure compliant, efficient program operations and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Six (6) years absence management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Demonstrated progressive responsibilities strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate absence programs with client HR and employees.
• Communicate with client, employee, and providers to resolve issues.
• Assist in evaluating results and preparing management reports.
• Maintain records for absence programs.
• Monitor satisfaction via surveys and suggest changes.
• Support client training and benefits fairs.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements.
