Job summary

Cox Automotive in the United States is seeking an Absence Advocate to join the Absence & Accommodations team. This role supports FMLA, ADA, PWFA, Workers' Compensation, and related benefits transitions across Cox Automotive and its subsidiaries in North America.

You will manage leave and accommodation cases, partner with TPAs and HR Business Partners, and ensure timely, compliant case management while delivering an employee-centered experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in absence management, leave administration, or accommodations.
• Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, PWFA, and disability programs.
• Proficiency with HRIS and leave management systems.
• Strong communication and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage ~100 active leave and accommodation cases concurrently with SLAs.
• Advocate for employees through the case lifecycle and coordinate with TPAs and HRBPs.
• Support leave programs across the U.S. and Canada, applying jurisdictional requirements.
• Triage and escalate complex, risk-sensitive cases to leadership.
• Coordinate ADA and PWFA accommodations with stakeholders and HR.
• Handle inbound/outbound communications via phone, chat, and email; travel up to 15%.
