Job summary

Northeast Arc is hiring Behavior Therapists to provide individualized ABA services to children ages 15 months to 12 years with ASD or Down syndrome. You will work with BCBAs, Early Intervention staff, families, and caregivers using Natural Environment Training and evidence-based approaches.

Responsibilities include home and community-based support, data collection, and collaboration with families to improve communication, daily living, social, and adaptive skills.

Qualifications

• Must have strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and flexibility.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide home and community-based support to individuals using evidence-based ABA approaches
• Work with individuals and families in natural environments to improve social and daily living skills
• Teach goals from treatment plans and implement strategies developed by the BCBA
• Attend clinical and non-clinical meetings and trainings
• Complete session notes, data, and related paperwork
• Ensure health, safety, and well-being of clients
• Support school consultations and parent training as needed
