Job summary

Northeast Arc is seeking Behavior Therapists to deliver individualized ABA services in home and community settings for children and families. You will work with BCBA and Early Intervention teams to implement Natural Environment Training and evidence-based strategies, serving ages 15 months to 12 years with ASD or Down syndrome.

The role emphasizes collaboration, data-driven goals, and family training, with opportunities for professional development and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Associate\'s or Bachelor\'s degree in psychology, early childhood education, or a related field required.
• RBT certification may substitute for the education requirement.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate professionalism.
• Valid driver\'s license and personal vehicle required.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Must successfully complete and pass all required background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide home and community-based support to individuals using evidence-based ABA approach.
• Work directly with individuals and families in natural environments to improve socially significant behaviors.
• Teach goals and skills outlined in treatment plans and implement behavior strategies.
• Attend and contribute to clinical and non-clinical meetings, trainings, and supervision.
• Complete required session notes and data and any additional non-clinical paperwork.
• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of clients.
• Support school consultations and parent training as needed.
