Job summary

Northeast Arc's Building Blocks and Building Bridges program provide individualized ABA services to children, ages 15 months to 12 years diagnosed with ASD or Down syndrome, and their families. Our Behavior Therapists work in a team atmosphere with BCBAs, Early Intervention staff, families and caregivers, using Natural Environment Training to maximize engagement.

Qualifications include an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field with RBT substitution allowed.

• Excellent organizational skills and flexibility.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide home and community-based support to individuals using evidence-based ABA approach.
• Work directly with individuals and families in the natural environment to improve socially significant behaviors across all areas, including communication, daily living skills, social skills, and adaptive behavior.
• Teach goals and skills outlined in the treatment plans and implement behavior strategies developed by the BCBA (clinical supervisor).
• Attend and contribute to clinical and non-clinical meetings, trainings, and individual supervisions.
• Complete required session notes and data and any additional non-clinical paperwork.
• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of clients.
• Support school consultations and parent training as needed.
