Job summary

Northeast Arc offers individualized ABA services to children ages 15 months to 12 years with ASD or Down Syndrome and their families. Our Behavior Therapists collaborate with BCBA, Early Intervention staff, and caregivers, using Natural Environment Training to capitalize on natural opportunities for engagement.

We provide home and community-based supports, working in teams to promote communication, social, and daily living skills with an evidence-based approach.

Qualifications

• Must have strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, able to maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide home and community-based support to individuals using evidence-based ABA approaches.
• Work with individuals and families in natural environments to improve communication, daily living, social, and adaptive skills.
• Teach goals and skills from treatment plans and implement strategies developed by the BCBA.
• Attend and contribute to clinical and non-clinical meetings, trainings, and supervision sessions.
• Complete required session notes and data and any non-clinical paperwork.
• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of clients.
• Support school consultations and parent training as needed.
