Job summary

Northeast Arc is seeking ABA staff to provide home and community-based support for children aged 15 months to 12 years with ASD or Down syndrome. You will work with families in natural settings to improve communication, daily living skills, and social behavior using evidence-based ABA techniques.

The role requires a Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a related field; RBT certification may substitute. Strong communication and teamwork are essential; valid driver's license and ability to lift up

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or Associate's in related field (e.g., psychology, early childhood education, social work).
  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification may substitute for the education requirement.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills; excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; reliable and maintain confidentiality.
  • Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Background checks required as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide home and community-based ABA support to individuals.
  • Work with individuals and families in natural environments to improve social and communication skills.
  • Teach goals from treatment plans and implement strategies developed by the supervisor.
  • Attend clinical and non-clinical meetings, trainings, and supervision sessions.
  • Complete session notes and data, and other non-clinical paperwork.
  • Ensure health, safety, and well-being of clients.
