Job summary

Northeast Arc in the Waltham area is hiring Behavior Therapists to deliver individualized ABA services to children ages 15 months to 12 years with ASD or Down syndrome. You’ll work with BCBA/LABA supervision in natural environments to build communication and daily living skills.

You’ll participate in meetings, trainings, and data collection while ensuring safety and client well-being. A related degree or RBT substitution is required along with strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Associate's in a related field (psychology, early childhood education, social work, etc.).
• Active RBT certification may substitute for the education requirement.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills, plus organization and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide home and community-based support using evidence-based ABA.
• Work with individuals and families in natural environments to improve behaviors including communication and daily living skills.
• Teach goals from treatment plans and implement strategies under clinical supervision.
• Attend meetings, trainings and supervision sessions.
• Complete session notes and data; handle non-clinical paperwork.
• Ensure health, safety and well-being of clients.
