Job summary

Strides Therapeutic Services in Vancouver, WA is seeking Behavior Technicians for paid employee training and fieldwork opportunities. You will provide one-to-one ABA services to children and adolescents under BCBA supervision, while gaining hands-on clinical training and supportive supervision.

Prior ABA experience is helpful but not required; candidates from psychology, education, or related fields are welcome. Full-time and part-time roles with benefits are available.

Qualifications

• washington Certified Behavior Technician credential, or willingness to obtain it before employment begins
• Genuine interest in working with children and adolescents with autism
• Dependability and consistent attendance
• Ability to remain patient, engaged, and professional during challenging situations
• Willingness to receive feedback and follow detailed clinical protocols
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to collect data and complete electronic documentation accurately
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of active, clinic-based services
• Ability to pass required background and employment checks
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, special education, human services, or a related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one ABA services to children and adolescents ages 18 months through 18 years
• Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision
• Teach communication, play, social, self-help, and learning-readiness skills
• Use positive, evidence-based strategies to support client success
• Collect accurate data and complete session documentation
• Collaborate with BCBAs, supervisors, other technicians, and caregivers
• Maintain a safe, structured, engaging, and compassionate therapy environment
• Participate in training, coaching, and professional development
