Job summary

Strides Therapeutic Services in Vancouver, WA is seeking Behavior Technicians for paid employee training and fieldwork opportunities. You will provide one-to-one ABA services to children and adolescents under BCBA supervision, while gaining hands-on clinical training and supportive supervision.

Prior ABA experience is helpful but not required; candidates from psychology, education, or related fields are welcome. Full-time and part-time roles with benefits are available.

Behavior Technician - Paid Employee Training and BCBA Fieldwork Opportunities

$21.00-$28.00 per hour | Full-time and part-time opportunities

Build meaningful clinical experience while helping children and adolescents with autism develop communication, social, play, learning, and daily-living skills.

Strides Therapeutic Services is a locally owned, BCBA-led practice seeking engaging, dependable Behavior Technicians for our Vancouver clinic. You will work directly with clients under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst while receiving hands-on training, clinical support, and opportunities to advance.

Prior ABA experience is helpful but not required. We welcome applicants with backgrounds in psychology, education, special education, childcare, social services, caregiving, mental health, developmental disabilities, and related fields.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

CREDENTIALING AND TRAINING

Candidates without prior experience providing ABA or comparable behavioral services must obtain a Washington State Certified Behavior Technician credential before beginning employment.

Strides will help qualified candidates complete the paperwork, guide them through the application and background-check process, and cover approved costs associated with obtaining the initial CBT credential. Time spent completing pre-employment credentialing requirements is not paid work time. Once hired, employees are paid for required onboarding, job-specific training, and clinical training completed as part of employment.
