Job summary

Soar Autism Center is seeking Behavior Technicians to help children ages 2–6 learn, communicate, and grow through play, using the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) within ABA therapy. This is a great early career opportunity to gain hands-on experience in psychology and child development while making a meaningful impact daily.

This role is ideal for candidates with childcare, daycare, paraprofessional, direct support, behavioral health, or education backgrounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain RBT certification within 6 weeks of employment.
• Preference for enrollment in or completion of a bachelor’s degree program in child development, psychology, or education.
• Experience working with children is preferred.
• Reliable transportation, punctuality, teamwork, and comfort using computers/tablets.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, play-based ABA therapy to young children in our center.
• Implement individualized plans created by Master’s-level clinicians and share progress with families.
• Bring skills from childcare, daycare, education, caregiving, or paraprofessional work into a clinical environment.
