Job summary

ABA Centers of New Jersey is hiring a Behavior Technician (BT) for full-time hours in Monmouth Junction, NJ. The position offers paid training, mentorship, and a clear path to RBT certification, with the company supporting exam preparation through the ABA Academy of Excellence.

Starting rates are $22.25/hour for BTs and $24.60/hour for RBTs, with final compensation determined by experience, training, and credentials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Availability during afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver's license and insurance.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review.
• NJ candidates must be at least 21 years of age and have a minimum of 1 year of experience working with children, in healthcare, or in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Direct Client Support: Deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, or clinics.
• Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
• Track Progress & Maintain Quality: collect, organize, and document session data accurately.
• Collaborate & Communicate: Work closely with BCBAs, team members, and families; participate in team meetings.
• Support Operations: Assist with administrative and clinical support tasks as needed.
