Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide Applied Behavioral Analysis Therapy (ABA) for children and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities in California. We offer training and certification support, with a starting hourly pay between $21 and $26 depending on experience and credentials.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Passion for working with children with special needs.
• Strong communication skills required.
• CPR/FA certification or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Help children work on social skills, communication skills, and repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
• Document child progress and milestones using a mobile application.
• Implement goals and programs in the individualized Behavior Plan designed by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
• Provide behavioral support services and crisis intervention.
• Follow instructions of the BCBA/Program supervisor.
