Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is hiring a Behavioral Technician to work one-on-one with children and/or adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and similar developmental delays in the Long Beach area.

The role focuses on helping clients develop social and communication skills, documenting progress, and implementing behavior-change plans created by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts. Competitive hourly pay between $21 and $26, with options for various shifts and benefits.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children with special needs.
• Strong communication skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• One year experience with children in related capacities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help children work on social skills, communication skills, and repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
• Document child progress and milestones.
• Follow and implement behavior change plans created by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
