Job summary

MAXIM HEALTHCARE SERVICES is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician in Highland Park, CA to provide Applied Behavioral Analysis therapy to children and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities. You will work under BCBA supervision to implement individualized behavior programs and support communication and social skills.

Successful candidates will have a passion for helping children, strong communication skills, and a willingness to obtain CPR/FA

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children with special needs.
• Strong communication skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year relevant experience preferred.
• Current CPR/FA certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Computer proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Help children work on social skills, communication skills, and repetitive or restrictive behaviors
• Document child progress and milestones using a mobile application
• Implement goals and programs in the individualized Behavior Plan designed by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts
• Providesbehaviorsupportservices and crisis intervention
• Follow instructions of the BCBA/Program supervisor
