Job summary

MAXIM HEALTHCARE SERVICES is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for children and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental disabilities. We will cover certification/training costs to get started.

Join a team of BCBA's and BT supervisors, with paid training, flexible part-time hours, and weekly pay in a national organization dedicated to quality care.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children with special needs.
• Strong communication skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one (1) year relevant experience preferred.
• Current CPR/FA certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Computer proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Help children work on social skills, communication skills, and repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
• Document child progress and milestones using a mobile application.
• Implement goals and programs in the individualized Behavior Plan designed by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
• Provide behavior support services and crisis intervention.
• Follow instructions of the BCBA/Program supervisor.
