Job summary

Intercept Youth Services, Inc. is seeking a part-time Child Behavior Specialist to implement individualized plans for children with autism and related developmental disabilities.

You will observe and collect data, support communication and social skills, and work under the guidance of a BCBA in a center-based setting. Qualifications include a high school diploma, experience with children, and either an RBT credential or completion of the 40-hour training, competency assessment, and exam within 6

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; experience with children preferred.
• Current RBT credential in good standing, or complete 40-hour training, competency assessment, and exam within 6 months of hire.
• Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science preferred; ABA experience a plus.
• Must have afternoon availability until 6 PM.

Responsibilities

• Support and implement an individualized plan focused on decreasing unsafe behaviors while increasing communication and social skills, with support from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
• Observe client skills and collect data to assess abilities and develop program goals.
• Work with children, adolescents, and young adults with autism, intellectual or developmental disabilities in a center-based program promoting language, behavioral, social, and daily living skills.
