Job summary

HANDS Center for Autism is seeking Behavior Technicians to provide one-on-one ABA-based interventions for children ages 2+. You will work under a BCBA, implement treatment plans, and help collect progress data in both home and center settings.

The role requires 18+, HS diploma (Bachelor’s or Master’s preferred), and 1+ year experience with special needs. RBT certification is a plus; valid driver’s license required. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma; Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in psychology, special education, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience working with children, adolescents, and/or adults with special needs.
• RBT certification preferred.
• Must be caring, energetic, and detail-oriented.
• Driver’s License and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral interventions to clients in home and center-based settings.
• Run skill acquisition programs based on ABA principles.
• Complete daily program writing and data collection before end of shift.
• Work with a BCBA to implement individualized treatment plans.
• Collect and accurately record data on clients’ progress.
• Maintain and protect the well-being of all clients during treatment sessions.
