Job summary

Intercept Health in Virginia is hiring a Part Time Child Behavior Specialist to support and implement individualized plans for children with autism and developmental disabilities, under supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

The role requires a high school diploma, an active RBT credential (or training to become certified within 6 months), ABA education preferred, and afternoon availability until 6 P.M. Entry pay starts at $20/hour, up to $26/hour with certification and experience.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a high school diploma and prior experience with children.
• Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential in good standing; or complete a 40-hour class, competency assessment, and exam to become an RBT within 6 months of hire (IH provides training compensation).
• Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science preferred; ABA experience with autism/developmental disabilities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support and implement individualized plans based on client targets and goals.
• Observe client skills and collect data to assess abilities and develop program goals.
• Work with children, adolescents, and young adults with autism or developmental disabilities in a center-based program to promote language, behavioral, social, and daily living skills.
