Job summary

HANDS Center for Autism seeks a Behavior Technician to provide one-on-one ABA interventions in home and center settings under weekly supervision by a BCBA. You will implement treatment plans, collect data, and help families.

Minimum qualifications include 18+, high school diploma; bachelor's or master's in psychology or related field preferred; 1 year experience with individuals with special needs; RBT preferred; valid driver's license and reliable transportation; ability to lift up to 50 lbs;

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma; Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in psychology, special education, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience working with children, adolescents, and/or adults with special needs.
• RBT certification preferred.
• Must be caring, energetic, and detail-oriented.
• Driver’s License and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral interventions to clients in home and center-based settings.
• Run skill acquisition programs based on ABA principles.
• Complete daily program writing and data collection.
• Work with BCBAs to implement individualized treatment plans.
• Collect and accurately record data on clients’ progress.
• Maintain and protect the well-being of all clients during treatment sessions.
