Job summary

DSI Tech in Ashburn, Virginia is seeking an Accounting Specialist to manage A/P and A/R, ensure accurate recordkeeping, and support financial operations. The role requires attention to detail, proficiency with Excel, and strong communication with internal teams and vendors.

The ideal candidate has 3–4 years in a similar role, experience with Oracle NetSuite, a BA/BS in Accounting preferred, and solid GAAP knowledge. Local candidates are encouraged to apply for the in-office position.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years in a mid-level Accounting Specialist role performing A/R, A/P, credit card reconciliations, and account reconciliations.
• Experience with Oracle NetSuite accounting module preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred.
• Credit card reconciliation experience required.
• Expertise in GAAP accounting.

Responsibilities

• Record, verify, and enter financial transactions to ensure data integrity.
• Manage full cycle A/P and A/R, including invoicing and vendor payments.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and monthly bank/credit card statements.
• Process and monitor cash receipts and disbursements; generate invoices and payments.
• Provide excellent client service and resolve issues with internal staff and clients.
• Support accounting/finance projects and maintain confidentiality.
