Job summary

Frontier Behavioral Health’s 988 National Suicide Prevent Contact Hub seeks a Part-time Trainer to deliver training to Crisis Triage Specialists and staff, ensuring services are culturally and linguistically appropriate. The role focuses on onboarding and ongoing training to support competency in crisis services.

You'll develop training materials, stay current with DOH and 988 workflows, and partner with leadership to implement effective education across the organization in Spokane.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of adult learning and instructional design.
• Ability to employ effective teaching strategies.
• Ability to communicate with diverse groups.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience coaching to improve training outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop newly assigned trainings using classroom, virtual, labs, group activities, and e-learning.
• Keep training materials up to date with mandatory 988/Region Crisis Line requirements.
• Provide orientation and training for Crisis Triage Specialists and manage logistics for internal trainings.
• Collaborate with senior trainer to provide ongoing education on specific cases.
• Review client records and give coaching on improvements as needed.
