Job summary

Frontier Behavioral Health is seeking a Crisis Response Specialist I to provide telephone and in‑person crisis assessments for youth and adults in Spokane County. Under supervision, you’ll develop safety plans, collaborate with families, and connect clients to services in the community.

The role requires a master’s degree in a related field and Licensure/credentials; travel between sites and an on‑call shift schedule are possible, with a Wednesday–Saturday night shift and shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work or related field.
• Must meet Mental Health Professional requirements per WAC 246-341-0200.
• Possess or pursue LAAC/LMHCA/LICSWA/LMFTA credentials and active DOH license within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Conduct telephone assessments and triage referrals.
• Perform crisis assessments and determine a need for services.
• Develop stabilization and safety plans with clients and families.
• Complete timely documentation to support safety plans.
• Maintain community resource knowledge and access necessary services.
• Travel to community sites to provide crisis response.
