Public Safety Dispatch Network is seeking a dedicated 911 Call Taker in Deming, WA. You will handle incoming emergency and nonemergency calls, verify locations and callbacks, and determine urgency using approved questions and dispatch software.

Role requires strong listening, clear verbal communication, accurate typing, and the ability to follow structured procedures. Training, certifications, and continuous learning are part of the work environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong listening, accurate typing, and clear verbal communication.
• Ability to follow structured procedures in fast-paced calls.
• Customer service or public safety experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Answer incoming emergency calls and assigned nonemergency lines
• Confirm incident location and caller’s callback information
• Use approved questions to identify nature and urgency
• Enter accurate details into call-processing or dispatch software
• Forward incident information promptly to the dispatch function
• Help distressed callers focus on essential questions and instructions
• Use language-access and accessibility resources when needed
• Provide authorized pre-arrival instructions only within training and certification
