Responsibilities

• Enter details into call-processing or dispatch software accurately.
• Forward incident information to the appropriate dispatch function promptly.
• Assist distressed callers with essential questions and instructions when appropriate.
• Use language-access and accessibility resources as needed.
• Provide pre-arrival instructions only within training and certification.
