Responsibilities

• Answer incoming emergency and nonemergency lines.
• Confirm incident location and caller contact information.

• Enter details into dispatch software accurately.
• Forward information promptly to the appropriate unit.
• Assist distressed callers with essential instructions.
• Use language-access resources when needed.
• Provide pre-arrival instructions within training.
