Job summary

Haworth, Inc in Holland, MI is seeking a Team Leader for the 3rd shift to guide a distribution/production team, drive safety, quality, and schedule adherence, and coach staff through daily operations in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with supervisors and other team leaders to plan staffing, monitor production flow, and develop annual goals, while building a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or equivalent; Relevant certification or vocational training may be preferred
• Work Experience: 3 years related experience
• Military Equivalency per www.mynextmove.org/vets/find/military

Responsibilities

• Prepares production floor for daily production; monitors staffing to meet production demands.
• Monitors and predicts flow to respond to production changes efficiently.
• Observes and improves work processes; ensures staff are trained in standard work.
• Updates production metrics and maintains Team Boards; communicates with team.
• Develops annual staffing and goal plans with supervision; cascades goals to staff.
• Motivates team to maintain quality and meet production requirements.
