Job summary

Haworth, Inc. in Ludington, MI is seeking a Team Lead for the 1st shift to drive safety, quality, and schedule adherence on the production floor. You will coach and train distribution/production team members while coordinating staffing to meet daily demand.

The role requires leadership experience and the ability to manage workflows, with opportunities for bonus and overtime in a dynamic manufacturing environment at Haworth facilities.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or equivalent; relevant certification may be preferred.
• Work experience: 3 years related experience.
• Ability to distinguish between colors.
• Military equivalency reference provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepares production floor for daily production; monitors and adjusts production based on inventory and planned downtime to meet demand.
• Monitors and predicts flow to respond to production changes efficiently.
• Observes, maintains, coordinates, and completes standard work; ensures team trained on standard processes.
• Updates production metrics and facilitates team communications; maintains Team Boards.
• Works with supervisor to develop annual plans and cascade goals to the team.
• Motivates team to balance production quality with production requirements.
