Job summary

Haworth in Big Rapids, MI is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift to lead manufacturing teams on schedule and within budget. You will oversee daily production, ensure safety and quality, and drive continuous improvement across processes and equipment on the factory floor.

The role requires 3 years of related experience, 2 years of supervisory experience, and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant field required.
• Associate's degree plus 2 years related experience OR 4 years related experience if no post-secondary education.
• 3 years related experience required.
• 2 years supervisory experience required.
• Military equivalency referenced.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team to manufacture high-quality products on schedule and within budget.
• Oversee daily production activities, prioritize tasks, and address production issues related to machinery and processes.
• Assign and oversee production tasks with clear work instructions and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality standards, and company policies.
• Foster a culture of inclusion, belonging, and continuous improvement.
• Champion lean initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and costs.
• Manage resources including labor, materials, and equipment to optimize production.
• Monitor performance and provide feedback to drive improvements.
