Challenge Manufacturing in Walker, MI is seeking a stamping press operator to run and monitor up to 800-ton presses, ensuring high-quality stampings meet standards and production targets.

You will load blanks, perform quality checks in Plex ERP, document outputs, and maintain safety and cleanliness. A high school diploma is required; stamping press experience is preferred; strong English literacy and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to stand for 8–10 hours daily and perform essential duties with/without accommodations.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to safely perform job duties.
• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Previous stamping press experience preferred.
• Demonstrates reliability, integrity and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Operate up to 800 Ton stamping presses and monitor runs.
• Reference production orders in Plex ERP to stamp products per JES.
• Load correct blanks and set up presses to ensure quality stampings.
• Perform routine quality checks and document results in Plex.
• Pack, label, and store parts per packaging instructions.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of the work area and assist with other centers as needed.
• Complete required paperwork and meet daily production requirements.
