Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a stamping press operator to run large-tonnage presses and ensure quality stampings meet standards. You will reference JES and production orders, set up blank sheets, and perform quality checks while maintaining a safe, clean work area in a fast-paced plant environment.

The role requires reading and interpreting JES, using Plex ERP, and lifting up to 40 pounds. Candidates should be able to work planned shifts, be reliable, and contribute to team production

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Experience with stamping press operations is preferred.
• Must be able to read/interpret JES and job element sheets.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and handle manual material handling.
• Proficiency with PC, Plex, and basic keyboard/mouse skills.

Responsibilities

• Stamp product per JES and production orders in Plex.
• Set up and operate stamping presses up to 800 tons.
• Perform quality checks and document results.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping in the work area.
• Rotate through centers and meet daily production requirements.
