Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing in Holland, MI is seeking a Transfer Press Operator for up to 2,000 ton presses across all shifts. You will set up, run and monitor stamping operations, verify die sets, select steel coils, and perform on-line inspections to meet quality standards.

You must read JES, use Plex ERP, complete operator sheets, and maintain a safe, clean work area. This full-time role offers ESOP, competitive benefits, and opportunities to cross-train across work centers on Plant 4.

Qualifications

• Set up and operate stamping presses per die set-up sheets.
• Perform quality checks and document results in the ERP/Plex system.
• Read and interpret job element sheets (JES) and process instructions.
• Handle material and tooling with safe lifting practices when required.

Responsibilities

• Set up stamping presses and adjust speed/height as needed.
• Select and verify steel coils to meet customer requirements.
• Record production data and seal quality checks per policy.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and assist with cross-training as needed.
