Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Refrigeration Maintenance Technician for the Green Forest plant on 3rd shift. You will assist the supervisor with daily tasks, perform routine preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment, and respond to equipment failures to minimize downtime.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or Industrial Maintenance training, at least 1 year refrigeration experience, and be willing to overtime and weekends; position requires

Qualifications

• High school diploma or industrial maintenance training or equivalent experience.
• 1 year refrigeration experience or related education.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends; lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must be able to climb ladders and operate in hot/cold environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist Supervisor with daily department tasks and communicate instructions clearly.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment to minimize downtime.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure safe operation of plant systems.
